Der GAK begrüßt einen international renommierten Experten für moderne restaurative und ästhetische Zahnmedizin. Als Spezialist, Master und PhD in ‚Restorative Dentistry‘, mit zusätzlicher Expertise in der Implantologie und als Visiting Professor an der UCLA verbindet Clavijo wissenschaftliche Evidenz mit außergewöhnlichen klinischen Ergebnissen im Bereich ästhetisch-restaurativer Zahnmedizin – von anspruchsvollen Einzelzahnrestaurationen bis zu komplexen Rehabilitationen, natürlich wie implantatgetragen.

As modern dentistry continues to expand its therapeutic possibilities, clinicians are increasingly challenged to select the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient while balancing biological, functional, esthetic, and financial considerations.

This lecture presents a comprehensive approach to clinical decision-making across the full spectrum of restorative and esthetic dentistry — from patients seeking their first dental intervention to those requiring complex rehabilitation due to extensive tooth loss, severe wear, or multiple missing teeth. Through clinical cases and evidence-based discussions, participants will explore how treatment strategies evolve according to patient needs, risk factors, and long-term objectives.

Topics will include direct composite restorations, ceramic restorations on natural teeth, implant-supported rehabilitations, management of compromised dentitions, interdisciplinary treatment planning, soft-tissue considerations, material selection, and strategies for achieving predictable esthetic and functional outcomes.
